Canonical URL: <https://training.sdfm.org/courses/uniform-administrative-requirements-for-federal-grants>

## Overview

This course unpacks the Uniform Guidance (2 CFR 200) as the backbone of federal grants compliance. Participants translate regulations into day-to-day steps from pre-award eligibility and risk reviews through post-award financial management, subrecipient oversight, and audit/closeout.

By the end, participants will be able to summarize key legislation involved in federal assistance; explain the structure and intent of the Uniform Guidance; distinguish assistance types and award instruments; and apply core administrative, financial, and audit requirements across the lifecycle.

Designed for federal program/grants staff, pass-through entities, and recipient personnel who need a working understanding of 2 CFR 200 to write policy, design procedures, or manage awards effectively.
